Guatemala is often called "the land of eternal spring," meaning mornings and evenings can be cool while daytime temperatures can get quite warm, ranging from the mid-60s to the low 80s (°F). September is the rainy season, so you might experience some sprinkles in August. Overall, the weather is pleasant. We recommend layering your clothing to adjust to the varying temperatures throughout the day

While we don't officially endorse specific companies, we do have some recommendations based on our positive experiences. For travel insurance, we suggest Assist Card USA, which has received good reviews from fellow travelers. For airlines, we recommend United Airlines, which offers direct flights to Guatemala. The sooner you book your flight, the cheaper it tends to be. There's a convenient direct flight that arrives at 1:40 PM and takes approximately 2.5 hours.
