Sebastian Apaestegui

Sebastian A. Apaéstegui is a Peruvian visual artist living and working in Houston, Texas. His practice is an exploration of psyche through ritualisms in the realms of painting, drawing and printmaking.

Apaéstegui describes his process as a playground with natural affinities to opposite forces in color and materiality. It is a space for exploring and recording his own evolution. The tactility and ephemerality of the work are a personal metaphor to the process of becoming, being, and evolving.
